Our Suit: Has plastic zippers with Nomex® tape. Our hook & loop is Nomex®. All stitching is done with Nomex® or Kevlar® thread. We use Kevlar® on our topstitching, it is much stronger than Nomex® and both will not burn.
Our Suit: Has a substantial storm flap that is connected to your overlapping nero collar. It is also sewn across the bottom to eliminate the remote possibility of gases entering the opening at the bottom
Your Suit: May be customized for your needs - leg zippers, extra pockets or reflective may be added for class 1, 2 or 3.
Your Suit: May be customized for fit – We have sizing garments and a size chart to fill out so that when you receive your suit, it fits.
Our Suits: Are full cut to allow plenty of bending and work room. Wearing a garment that is full cut also gives you more insulating qualities in case of flash fire. Never wear a garment that is too tight.
Our Suit: Has large tabs on the neck, sleeves and legs to allow you to “snug up” all openings. We don’t want any chance of natural gas seeping into any opening and causing a “mini explosion” inside your suit. That’s why our suit is a closed system – always seal up all openings.
On the upper back of your suit there is a pouch. If ordered as a component of your system the pouch will contain a lanyard – The lanyard and our built in “retrievable system” is used to quickly remove you in a flash fire situation. The complete harness has been sewn into your suit.
Your pull over hood and gloves have been created and tested with the same care as your suit - the hood is designed to fit snug around the mask you are wearing.
There should be absolutely no skin showing anywhere on your body.
Your gloves have a long gauntlet to protect you. Close the tabs tightly.
Keep your suit clean. Guard it from oil and grease. Your suit has been built to be washed and dried. Remember – no fabric softener. This suit may save your life – take good care of it.
