After 12 years of extensive research design, and testing by DuPont, Silver Needle Inc. and NW Natural Gas, our garment has been the only one tested with a 0% burn result for an 8 second flash.

Since Silver Needle has accomplished such outstanding results, many manufacturers are trying to cheaply copy our suit with questionable results.
Some discussion was held on the weight of the suit in regards to heat stress. Typically, this suit is only worn for up to a 20 minute period of time.

Silver Needle is willing to work with Your Company on color combinations and logos. We only embroider using Nomex® thread.

Silver Needles suit has a built in harness for retrievable purposes only. This harness allows more air to the body for more thermal protection instead of our competitors suits that require a harness over the top of the suit which will result in less thermal protection. Our harness works in conjunction with the suit to give you better thermal protection because of the air barrier.

Silver Needle provides hoods, boots, respirators and bags so your complete unit for abnormal gas leak operations is provided in kit form. Just tell us if you need Level 1 or Level 2 protection!
